Self-Portrait 30/52
Yet another week that I couldn’t seem to post a photo for my 52 week project on time. Not only that, I didn’t have a planned photo idea, or even set aside any time to dedicate to taking an image last week. It was at 11:40pm on Sunday night that I thought “oh shit, I only have 20 minutes left to take a photo and post it for the week”, clearly that wasn’t happening.
I did take this photo above during the week, on Saturday, so it counts. It was intended to use and keep with my personal family photos, but hey, I need something to post to stay on track! So here’s a peek into a real life moment. Usually when we are out doing family things I’ll try and prop my camera up somewhere and get a photo with all of us in it. Here we are at the zoo. I took a handful of photos here on the bench, most of them I’m looking at the camera but this one seems to be my favorite. Look at me looking at my husband so adoringly, it’s cute, right? When in all actuality I turned to him and accused him of making faces behind my back. He assured me he wasn’t, I didn’t believe him, “ya right, knock it off, jerk!”….. then I come home and look at the series of photos and notice that he had been telling the truth. But I’m not going to admit I was wrong, nope! I’m not stupid.
Like always, all images can be seen bigger on Flickr.
“Type hard, like you mean it!”
